OUTSTANDING!!! The right part for the right price. My son's iPod us up and running again. -Davis ---------------------- VERY IMPRESSIVE! I got it a few days ago. It works great. My old friend is revived. Thanks for great work and quick service. -TJ ---------------------- THANKS! It works great. Thank you for being honest also. Apparently I over paid you, and you returned a check to me.This means a lot to me that I know that I am dealing with honest people. I will ALWAYS send our iPods to you if work needs done. You will have all of my business, now and forever. -Ken ---------------------- Thanks so much. I can't help but wish that there were more businesses that operate like yours. I assure you that I will be singing your praises to all my Pod-pals. -John ---------------------- Thanks again. I am very happy with my iPod. It is a rare thing to do business with a company and be this satisfied. -John ---------------------- I want to thank you for your excellent service. It is prompt and the price is very reasonable.I am very grateful and will enthusiastically recommend DigiExpress to others. -Ron --------------------- I wanted to take the time to commend you on your phenomenal service and prices. I ordered a headphone jack and faceplate which cost about 1/3 of the price the Apple store was going to charge me to fix my iPod. The necessary tools needed to fix it are included and replacing the parts was fairly easy. You guys revitalized my iPod and it now looks and plays like new. Thank you very much!!! -Marcus

Most of the time, installing new parts goes smoothly, but occasionally some of our customers run into problems.  Here are a few tips to help with your installation…

1. Watch the entire video before starting the installation. It is easy to miss an important step in the installation process which can result in damage to the device. We recommend watching the video a few times before starting the installation.

2. Once the installation is complete; recharge and restart
.  We’ve found that some devices will act a bit strangely as a result of all the disconnecting and reconnecting that you just did.  So if you notice anything unusual (say, odd characters  on the screen, or an error message, or a dim or flickering screen), just turn the device off, fully charge the battery, and turn it back on. This will generally clear any unusual behavior.

3. Check Connections
.  The most common cause for LCD screen problems, especially a blank (white) screen or a dead (black) screen, is that you have not fully attached all the wires and ribbon cables and the screen is not getting a good signal from the device.  You can fix this by checking all the connections, and making sure that all the wires and ribbon cables are fully inserted and all locking tabs are locked in place.  Refer back to the directions you followed when doing the installation.

4. If you are still having issues try a hard reset.
Hold down the “menu” and “select” (center button) for 6 - 10 seconds until the Apple logo appears. Sometimes it takes a few resets to work, so try more than once. For iPod Touch and iPhone; hold down the Home button and On/Off button simultaneously for 10 seconds until the Apple logo appears.

5. If none of the above has helped,
please contact us immediately so we can help you remedy the problem.

Note: New Batteries need to be fully charged before use.
Although some batteries may have a small charge on them, most will be dead upon arrival. After installation, charge the battery on a wall charger until fully charged. For the first few cycles, always fully charge the battery and run it until fully discharged. This will promote longer playtime between charges and overall longer battery life.

If your device had a new logic board or hard drive installed, you may have test songs on your device. This music was synced to your device via iTunes to test the connectivity function of your device. Restoring the device will clear this data if you do not wish to keep it.

If you are having trouble with your part installation, please allow us to complete the repair for you rather than risk further damage to the device.  Please print and follow the instructions on this form: Part installation form.pdf
